2021 Initial Fundraising Programs

HCC’s January Online Tag Sale Is Underway!!!As you make room for your Christmas goodies, perhaps you have something you no longer need that you can donate to HCC’s January Online Tag Sale. We are looking for items in good condition that we can sell for at least $10. If something comes to mind, take a picture of it and send it along with a description and a suggested price to fundraising@haydenvillechurch.org.
Please also let us know if you would be able to coordinate getting your item to the buyer if your item sells, or if you will need the Fundraising Committee to do that. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
The Tag Sale will start Saturday, January 16th and run through Sunday, January 24th, so please send us photos of your items by Monday, January 11th, so that we have time to post them before the sale goes live.
Thanks for doing your part to help our church thrive!– The Haydenville Church Fundraising Committee
February: Online CONCERT Sing me a love song! The Haydenville Congregational Church is doing a fundraiser and we need your voice! For many years February was a dark month for me, and I would organize a group of local talented singers and musicians to hold a night of music and poetry readings to bring back the light. This year, more than ever, we need the light. And this year, things are different. So we are organizing an online night of music as a fundraiser for our beloved church. We are looking for singers, choirs, bands, musicians, storytellers, poets to share your gifts. Details will be provided if you are interested and able to participate with just one song, one poem, one short story. We will compile these into an hour(or so) long program for release February 14 th via Youtube or zoom. The theme is Love Songs. If you are interested in participating, contact Trish at paintitblue@comcast.net or text me @ 4137275150. I need to know what you would like to sing or say so there are no duplications. But what the world needs now, is love, sweet love. — Trish
March or April: Online AUCTION: This will be the most labor intensive! Not a “tag sale” this time. You all know how talented you are. Paintings, photography, knitted, sewn items, quilts, floral arrangements, pottery, jewelry, special order cakes, antiques or collectable items, herbal products, gently used musical equipment, gift certificates for gardening, yard clean up, music lessons, massage…etc, etc, etc…
You can help with any or all of these, each in your own way. Stretch yourselves and try something new! Jump in! We need to raise money so that when we CAN open out church doors, we will be able to!Have ideas, willing to help, contact Trish LaFreniere/paintitblue@comcast.net or Jo Cannon/jcannon@smith.edu
