Haydenville Congregational Church is an open and affirming radically inclusive rollicking, small town church with a huge heart in Haydenville, Mass.
Our Mission: Haydenville Congregational Church seeks to follow the boundary-breaking way of Jesus by making God’s love and justice real through radical inclusion, multigenerational spiritual exploration, dedication to earth care, and active community engagement.
As members of this body of Christ we are on a journey together to experience who God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are for us and our world. Following Jesus’ way, we welcome the voices, presence and power of each person, including those pushed to the margins, silenced or rejected, especially female, BIPOC*, and LGBTQIA+ people.
Most immediately, our intention is to create racial equity and justice transformation on the individual, interpersonal, institutional, and community level by centering and embedding racial equity and justice in every aspect of the church’s life – its culture, community life, worship, policies and practices.
We joyfully embrace our identity as a…
Spirit-filled,
Justice-seeking,
Peace-loving,
Open and Affirming,
Anti-racist,
Child-centered,
Song-filled,
Ever-thankful,
Earth-tending,
Stubbornly hopeful,
Beloved Community.
